Pepperell Fourth of July Parade

State Senator Ed Kennedy joined State Representative Margaret Scarsdale and Pepperell Selectman Tony Beattie during Pepperell’s 4th of July Parade on Saturday, July 1. As in previous years, the popular parade drew a large crowd all along the parade route. Congratulations to the Pepperell July 4th Celebration Committee on a well-planned event. And a special thanks Pepperell Selectman Tony Beattie for providing a “classic” parade vehicle that was decorated with American flags.

Pepperell Selectman Tony Beattie, State Senator Ed Kennedy and State Representative Margaret Scarsdale are riding in style in Tony Beattie’s Classic Saab-900 convertible.
Traveling along the Pepperell 4th of July Parade route and the Saab-900 is running smoothly at this point.
Engine troubles during the parade were solved with some “people power” that provided some help during the last part of the parade route.
After completing the parade route we were greeted by Pepperell resident Bob Connelly.
Al Harris was this year’s Grand Marshall for the 4th of July Parade. Al led the parade in a bright yellow vehicle with his daughter at the wheel.
